Energy-from-waste (EFW) Site Liaison Committee (SLC) Meeting No. 3
Members from ZeroWaste4ZeroBurning.ca will make delegations to the Site Liaison Committee. You are encouraged to attend, even if you don't speak — a good number of interested residents present shows that the community is watching.
The Site Liaison Committee serves to review and provide input on site specific studies related to the environmental assessment study of the proposed EFW incinerator. It is composed of volunteers named from the community, and reports to the Durham-York Joint Waste Management Committee, the steering committee for the project. See the terms of reference for the SLC in the file listed at the bottom of this article.
