The Notice of Completion published by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment environmental assessment page sets Friday April 2, 2010 as the close of the final public inspection of the Ministry Review of the Environmental Assessment of the Durham-York waste incinerator project. This is our last opportunity for public comments on the incinerator EA study before the minister of the environment considers his decision.

The environmental assessment study and the Ministry Review documents are also available on the Durham-York Waste study site.

Please refer to the presentation slides from the March 2 information session for some issues of concern with the EA study and the Ministry Review. There is data in the EA study that conflicts with the conclusions of the study and the review.
